Who We Are
The Nuances is a mixed-voice a cappella group at Davidson College. We enjoy performing on campus, in our community, and collaborating with musicians who share our love of all things a cappella. When we aren't making music with our mouths, you can find us laughing our hearts out at our family dinners or making late-night runs to Waffle House or Cookout.

The Nuances were officially established at Davidson College

We released our debut album "Shaken Not Stirred"

We recorded and released our 2nd album "SoFa"

We recorded and released our 3rd album "Sundays at Seven"

Our Mission
We are completely student-run and take pride in arranging a lot of our own nuanced music.
Although we have lots of fun and laughs, we take rehearsal and commitment very seriously.
Everyone's opinions are heard and each member is held accountable by the other.
People of all backgrounds, races, and identities are welcome and accepted.
We always say we're a family and we truly mean it. We're there for each other, inside and outside of the choir room.
